Hi, I'm Andrew. I have always seen the world in a different way and have found photography one of the few ways to share my way of looking at things. When I began, I mostly took pictures of things that caught my attention. I found great elegance in things I had seen every day, but never noticed. I soon found that the people I see everyday possessed the same overlooked beauty and elegance I had found in everyday objects. My photos capture the unique beauty and elegance those around me possess. A recent graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Engineering, Electrical Specialty, I now live in Seattle, Washington...working in the aerospace industry. Part of my draw to photography is its ability to exercise the creative side of my brain, balancing out the engineering. The goal of this site is to document my, more or less, professional photography career (which is different from the blogging I do at Andrew Ferguson dot NET). The idea is that this site will eventually become a repository for my body of work.
